White Female Patriatchy of the North-West on World Thely Voice and Expression, #OBWAM3021.β’

. . .

Maybe reconsider the title of
“Female Artists in History” ?!
🙂

.
As with the dogma of the old and obsolete paradigm
of the world, every thing we come to be tought and learn,
is through the patriarchal North-Western gaze
and conditioning.

This page, I Am sadden to say, is no exception.

The very title of a “catholic take over” scope
without it BEing, however, “all~embracing”, is
typical of such a “white supremacy (fe)male
superiority”.

We are programmed, OFcourse, not to notice
and in effect, brush away even the thought
that we may be not … “inclusive” in
“our” representations, of the “world”.

This is not about taking away from anyone …

It IS, nevertheless, about the
“it is time we halt and truely ponder”
what we are NOT DOing
and consequently, we ARE BEing,
conversly ascribed as well.

We are being and we are not doing,
by following on
the “high road” of the establishment, who
decided and asserted, designated and instituted,
given and set as “such”,
without even the slightest of scruple
and an obvious compunction of the
exclusiveness, it is so deplorably
infested with.

“Female Artists” is much more than what
is presented and re~presented in here.

This is not saying that
this page is not resource~full
of importance.
Quite the contrary.

It IS !
It is with a suitable title, that is.

A title that candidly states :
“North-Western Female Artists in History”

🙂

Female Artists in History
Female Artists in History I don’t subscribe what you say. This page is not about North-Western Female Artists in History, but women artists from all winds, colours, (non-)religions. I don’t make any pre-selections on these grounds. I research what I come across, and although I can read many languages, my intellect and knowledge is limited to what I can understand. And so is my purse. This past month I bough 20 books for my researh for this page, but I don’t earn anything from this page and I have a job to fund what I do. But no matter how hard I work, it will always be limited.
For instance I have added some Asian artists, but language is a true threshold in this. I am depended of translations. I can’t read Chinese nor Japanese, I can’t distinguish males from females, and Google translate is not really helpful in thorough research. South African and South American museum are not always well unlocked/accessible, if they already have a website at all.
North-West is usually referred to as Northern Europe, but I have many American and Australian Artists as well.

All I can offer is all my time and devotion. My very little contribution to rewrite art history.
Whatever I do, there will be always a group that feels that they don’t get enough attention. Which is a pity, but unavoidable.
If this page is not perfect, but a little less than perfect, I am still very satisfied. Better doing something than nothing.

I’m sorry my page disappoints you. I’m sure you will find other pages on Facebook that have higher standards, and a larger variety than this page.

I Am quite overwhelmingly perplexed
as to the conclusions You drew,
from my suggestion.

Especially since You, YourSelf, are describing
issues that evidently point to an inability to be
all~embracing.

.
It is not about being accused of
being a bad, nor an incompetent, person!

You have thoughtlessly culminated
to a preposterous aggressive
“defence” mechanism, which
reveals more about YourSelf, than
the other person.

Even if, hypothetically speaking, there were
inflammatory remarks made towards You,
there is still no justification for such a retaliation.

.
Your page did not disappoint me, and
the very fact that I went ahead and put forward
a consideration, suggests quite the contrary.

Nevertheless, Your choice of attitude
and consequential reply, is
nothing to be proud of, from my standpoint.

For example :
Noone is forcing You to do any of this
and spending “money” on books, is
entirely Your prerogative.

An other person, would propably abstain
from purchasing books, for deforestation impact reasons.
An other person would probably abstain
from purchasing books, due to lack of sources
(bookshops, museums, galleries) at their location.
An other person would probably abstain
from purchasing books, to not partake in the
enrichment of publishing houses.
An other person would probably abstain
from purchasing books, preferring instead
to give the money to “causes”.

In addition,
Your understanding of “North-Western”
and juxtapositions of relevance, is
on its own incriminating in the worst way,
than any evaluative display made in
the original commentary.

.
Lastly,
it is one thing to respond to a perfectly
irreproachable submission, passive aggressively
but, it is quite another to
use the person making the proposal, as
a scape~goat, to sacrifice on the altar of
self-glorification.

“…
If You are helping someone
and expecting something in return,
You are doing business
not kindness.
…”

Thank You,
for helping me understand that
this is, indeed, not a place to dwell in
for mySelf’s enLIGHTen~ment.

Grateful & Great~Full
